Somebody has suggested that I have mislocated this photo on the map, and that it was actually taken in South Perth. The main basis for this is that the Narrows Bridge would be visible in the foreground if it was taken below Kings Park. Well, click on the photo to view it at maximum size and you'll see that the Narrows Bridge is visible! Drop straight down to the water line from the BankWest Tower and keep going right. Perhaps your contrast/brightness settings are making everything too dark? You'll notice also that the mooring post outside the Old Swan Brewery is clearly visible in the water to the left. In another version of the photo the old sailing ship they have is visible on the left. Thanks anyway.
