Thank you very much for your opinion -it may seem strange but that place is so green because I took this picture in Dicember (Sicily during the summer is just 'burned'-no green,too hot)

This is another exceptional photograph. As you say it is two thousand years old but you can still touch it. I note the lush vegetation in December.

In December in Ontario we are probably getting our third or fouth winter storm probably dropping fifteen to twenty centimeters of snow.

I will look at your picture in December and wish I was in Sicily.

You're right Steven - that's why I prefer 'winter' in Sicily - it's still sunny and you can visit all the cities without sweating one's guts out . The pictures from Taormina I took in December,too-and if you wanna ski you can go to Etna -there's always snow there
