This photo is in the wrong location, by quite a distance. These are the Windermere Apartments, located on the SW corner of 57th Street & 9th Avenue, in midtown Manhattan. (i.e. 40.767899 -73.985908) In 2005, the building was designated a NYC Landmark because of its status as one of the oldest remaining apartment houses in NYC, having been built in 1881. It is presently vacant.
