Farmers, great place for refreshments when out shopping with the Missus, Keith, did you ever go down there at the evening sessions!, by gum the music an that were right grand, pardon?

Farmers, Percy, Haymarket and City Tavern: The Heavy Metal Triangle. I loved it. Sometimes the triangle extended to The Man on the Moon/Jubilee/Trillians. It seems that no-one remembers The Gay Trooper (back in the days when gay meant light-hearted)

I remember the Gay Trooper, Skida. I remember being chased around the bar by a Hell's Angel seeking to kill someone, anyone really. A regular occurrence, I was led to believe. I still drive up Percy Street regularly, and wish the traffic was the same as in 1973. Good photo, nice to reminisce.

The biker would probably have been a member of the Blackburns Gang, who "ran" the Trooper, if I remember correctly.
