All this should be restored, the tourists would absolutely love it.

You are absolutely right Mandy! But the costs would be immense, because the whole rails had been removed. The track-foundations are still there in some parts and are still visible in the Krugerpark. In the museum I could read that early paasengers waiting for the train had been harassed by a buch of lions. The passengers fled into the nearest trees and when the train arrived, the conductor found no waiting passengers and left them in the trees with the lions waiting. What an experience for nowadays tourists!!!??? Later on the Selati Railway provided ladders there for the convenience of waiting passengers who had to flee into the trees for their safety.
