This Building is called Chateau d'Eau (Water Tower or Castle) in Montbellier. It stands between an aquaduct and the place Peyrou. In recent days water has been transported to the city via the aquaduct and through the place de Peyrou. As I have found out this tower has been build for amusement in around the 18th century and has no particular use.
