Obviously someone cannot distinguish the difference betwixt Cadillacs and Chevrolets. There is a reason it is called the "CADILLAC Ranch" and not the "Chevrolet Ranch". It is now difficult to see that these Cadillacs, representing the famous "tail fin" years of the '50s, were first completely restored before being cemented and buried "nose deep" into the ground. The once luxurious automobiles are today the victims of vandalism, graffiti, and harsh weathering over several decades. The Cadillac Ranch has been the inspiration of a number of songs, in title and lyrics, by such singers as Eric Clapton, Don Williams, Bruce Springsteen, and numerous others. It is definitely a great example of pure American artistic expression.
