Hi Peter thanks for your commens:)

This is a sunset during our Bushfire season, the sky was filled with smoke and the sun was very orange, l positioned the tree leaves in front of the sun to give an oriental look

Cheers rosina :)

Rosina, this is a beautiful shot; almost Asian in its simple elegance. It could be a watercolor painting.

I love the quiet, oriental style of this. Great shot!

Snemann on April 19, 2007

OK, Rosina, the date is noted. I wonder how many individual users one is able to reach, by posting like you have done now I believe, comments on the most commented pictures one knows. I imagine there is like 40 or so who has commented my green fields.. Perhaps 100 of the most active users? It is a bit frustrating to know that there are almost 390000 other users out there. But just as well perhaps, that one cannot reach them all.

rosina lamberti on April 19, 2007

Thanks sneman point taken, Guess l got a little excited about a new project :)

Snemann on April 19, 2007

Not really trying to make a point, more like thinking aloud around how many, and who, one really reaches with comments. Probably it is a rather effective way, because those who comments on pictures probably are active photographers too, and in the group one tries to reach.

'those who comments on pictures probably are active photographers too'

Good point. I get the feeling that people who take time to write a comment (not just spam them) are interested in some way, either in your style or how the image makles them feel. There seem to be a lot of users who only want their space on Google Earth, though.

rosina lamberti on April 21, 2007

Thanks Snemann and Matthew l always assumed that Panoramio was intended for photographers to share their memories through camera and text and participate in mini exhibitions through forums and if google earth displayed a few then it was a bonus.

Thanks for your comments always appreciated :)
