Gives me joy to know who you like this lightning Georgy!!! Was a powerful storm!!! Thanks for your visit, kind comments and LIKE!!!

Hello Toto Interesting... I always wonder how are some photographers able to capture lightning. So you've said you were only lucky one and you've pressed the button at the right moment? No special equipment, technique, no other tricks?

What is strange to me - landscape is blurred, but lightning not. On next photo there are more traces of lightning (shrap), other background is again blurred... I am bit confused. :)

Look Tom, that day the storm was so big and strong, the lightnings fell one after another!!! At that time I had my little Sony Cybershot DSC-W5, only that!!! So great was the storm that I was afraid to stop the truck and get out of it!!! So I decided to keep driving!!! Then I took the camera with one hand while driving, You do not tell anyone ;), and I began to shoot every time I saw lightning!!! I took many images, but only two I could capture the lightning!!! Now do you understand why the landscape in foreground is moved? Do not you think it was just luck? :))!!! I honestly never imagined I would be able to capture one of them, still less that way :))!!! Well my friend, so sorry if you were expecting a technical explanation about it :(!!!

Gives me joy to know who you like this lightning Krzysio!!! Was a really powerful storm!!! Thank you very much for your visit, nice comment, LIKE and Fav!!!

Friendly greetings, Toto

Hi Toto, your explanation of your technique is as much interesting as any other sophisticated solution that I expected (shutter controled by light sensor etc.)

And don't be affraid, I will not tell to anybody that you made a bunch of photos while driving... but can you tell me what is your local police department phone number and what is your driving licence number? :)))))

Sorry for bad joke. :)

Best regards from Prague, Tom

Toto Franchi on January 31, 2011

Ok Tom, no problem!!! Grab a pen and write my data... my real name is James Bond and my driving licence number is 007!!! Sorry but I can not give you my phone number ... is secret!!! :))))

Thank you very much for your good sense of humor my friend, made me laugh ;)

Friendly greetings from... Patagonia Argentina???, Toto

Muchas gracias por tu visita, amable comentario y Like!!!
