Crossing the Colorado at the bottom of the Grand Canyon.
It is a bit ironic that the best views are actually from the top. The track at the bottom is winds so much that you really are just looking at walls of rock.
We avoided the heat by setting out really early with flashlights. There was a large jug of homemade lemonade at Phantom Ranch, which helped the next stage of the journey.
I been rafting 5 times down the river and this picture brings back great memories
