Hi Amelia - so pleased you like the jetty and its reflections. It is a nice peaceful place, and I hope we'll go back there on holiday some time.
We are off to London and Cork mid-May (I am going to see the Chelsea Flower Show, a lifelong dream - God willing!!) and as this is our 2nd stay in London we aim to see as much as possible that was missed in our previous week's stay (2006).
Then the garden bit: we spend 4 weeks near Cork, so I'm reading up on UK gardening and trying to work out some sort of planting design for his small, north-facing townhouse patch (VERY low maintenance - the lick-and-promise type garden that our son can handle because he travels a lot, usually for a couple of weeks at a time!) Lots of TLC will not be available, I'm afraid.
