Etna, also called Ætna, Etnea, Monte di Catania, Mongibello (from the Latin mons and Arabic jebel), which means "mountain of mountains or Gibel Utlamat Mons, a volcano in Italy is located in Sicily, near the city of Catania, the second largest city of Sicily. Culminating at 3330 meters altitude, it is the highest volcano in Europe and with almost one hundred eruptions during the 20th century, one of the world's busiest. Roger.
