Borgo Medioevale, Torino
The small village Borgo Medioevale in Torino is more similar to an archaeological monument and it is born in Parco del Valentino as an International Exhibition Pavilion that was opened between April and November of 1884. For the demolition at the end of International Exhibition it became a museum.
This is a fairly faithful reproduction of a typical late medieval village in which were reconstructed streets, houses, churches, piazzas, typical studios with small shops, fountains and decorations at the time surrounded by walls and fortifications and dominated by a fortress. Nearby the castle there is a Three with “Gold Apples”. There is accessed through a gate-tower.
