Many thanks for all your words of encouragement. I am not at all adventurous with my computer, let alone photoshop but I must admit to being pleasantly surprised after tweeking all the parameters in the colour zones. Boy was I shocked at the result. It's a miracle of technology.

Jean I have never seen the water level rise above the road level(the stream disappears under the road via a culvert) but I am assured that it can reach alarmingly high levels ;>)

Tiff It was me just fooling around in photoshop' I prefer this shot to the colour one nearby

Fai- your re-assuring comment comfirms my belief ta!

Anna--This is a very good comment you make ;>)

Don-I just got to keep away from all those germ bearing human beings for a while. You know how it is !!

Robin Oh Robin, tis good to find you here, I so much enjoy your good humour, it lightens up my day. You are a star my red breasted friend ;>))

Juan-- Having lost you somehow, during the last few months, it is good to re-establish contact once more. We should not leave it for such a long time ;>)

Kind regards to each and every one of you!!

Great picture. I like the contrast of the geometric shapes and nature.

Jim Evans (AXOTA) on March 19, 2009

Fred Fouarge on March 28, 2009

Why you have made an black and white of this???

Jim Evans (AXOTA) on March 28, 2009

The monochrome effect was much better than the colour image Fred. I like this better!!

Ian Stehbens on April 4, 2009

I appreciate your B&W, Jim. And the contrast is right.

Jim Evans (AXOTA) on May 4, 2009

Thanks Ian. I derive much pleasure from tweeking these images in photo shop, if only I knew what I was doing ;>)

Kind regards my friend ;>)
