if you dont mind me asking dan whats the scariest moment you have had ?iam fascinated to have come across someone with first hand experince.

I would have to say that my two scariest moments came on the same night. On May 5th, I was chasing with a buddy near Great Bend, Kansas. Tornadic supercells were lined up north-south from the Nebraska border to Oklahoma. We were trying to get around the storm to get position on it but we had to go through the core and the storm was moving faster than I expected. From the radio, reports of the tornado were getting closer and closer to our position. We beat it by five to ten minutes... Later, on the same storm we got back in position but were too close and found ourselves in the inflow notch. This all happened at NIGHT!.
