Villa Simonyi was designed by architect Wendell Lovett for Charles Simonyi, who oversaw the development of Microsoft Word and Excel. Mr. Simonyi is also known for having dated Martha Stewart for many years (he married someone else in 2008) and for having visited the International Space Station as a tourist in 2007.
