This one is great, I love it full size. I didn't know places like this were allowed in Utah... ;-)

I thought the same about Utah as Bruce did. But I remember when I visited Salt Lake City years ago, I had a real beer in a restaurant!

Thanks, Bruce. Since I'm such a neon buff, this one really caught my eye. I like the retro look of the Ko Ko Mo letters, and the bonus of the Newcastle Mortgage sign clinched the deal.
Bruce and Norrel, it's funny, Utahns love to moan and complain about the rules to get in to bars (private clubs) and how it makes the state look strange and backward, but I've lived in a number of different states, and there are all manner of ways for cover charges to be collected at the door, so I don't really understand why all the crying.
As for bars, yeah, Utah's got 'em. Ol' Brigham even allowed a particular type of local hooch to be made way back in the day, but only for consumption by the saints.
This is on 25th Street in Ogden, a rather well known street of ill repute. There are quite a number of bars along this stretch of street. I don't go in them myself, I just like the neon signage, but as I passed by, this one looked more like a working man/farm hand type place, to my surprise.

There you go. I'm just not sure that it was Ogden that the Beach Boys had in mind when they set out.
