Very nice, like the misty snow. Thanks for comments on Forum too. I'm also going to try some more B&W HDR...your coastal shot of the pier is excellent. Best, ELR

Thanks ELR. This image was a result of not being able to get the original photo to my liking using photoshop. I decided to merge my efforts into an HDR image and applied an "Orton Effect" filter. This was done using a program called Dynamic Photo HDR. Thanks also for your kind comment about the pier. Cheers Dorset64.

Thanks for the tip...will check out Dynamic Photo HDR. I just looked at the location which shows the area in summer, quite a change. I didn't realize that southern England got snow like this! ELR

Well actually its not snow,it was a really heavy frost. For me this image portrays how I felt about the scene rather than how I viewed it. Your right about our snowfalls though we havn`t had any significant snow here for at least 25 years. All we seem to have these days are just very grey, damp winters, much the pity. Maybe its time to emigrate and after looking at your photos the U.S. looks a nice spot.

That's a lot of frost!! I do remember the winters when I was there in the '70s...damp, cold and grey. But the USA has its own frigid places...it was 45 degrees below zero two days ago in Minnesota. Notice, most of my photos are from warmer places! I don't do cold very well! LOL
