Hi. I think that I lived around here between 1976 and 1980. Can you confirm if this is Area 10? Also, if you are still there, can you take and post some more photos of the houses up the road from here - in the direction towards Capital Hotel.

This is indeed area 10. We do have a couple of pictures of this precise road but not a lot others of Lilongwe. I'm sorry, we were only visiting Lilongwe when we shot these pictures.
If you'd really like it I could bring you in contact who lives in area 10. That was the person we were going to visit.
Hi. I'm pretty sure this is the right location, but the houses look totally different now, so presume that there was some rebuild. It's only been 32 years now!!!!
Link below shows the exact location of our house (or where our house used to be!). It was heading south from the dambo on the right hand side, second house.
