Evgenia Ko, The best RAW converstion for my Canon camera is the software supplied by Canon. I've heard the same form Nikon users. I usually use Lightroom though, because it is so much easier and more efficient to work with. You can try it via a free 30 day trial download.
John, look up directions to the Norht Coyote Buttes area managed by the Bureau of Land Management, specifically "The Wave". They issue 20 permits to hike to this area each day, and 10 of those are issued in an in-person lottery the day before. It may take you several days to get the (next day) hiking pass. So plan to go to the drawing on the first day, then go to Antelope Canyon, Horseshoe Bend, etc. later that day, and hopefully you'll be hiking to The Wave the following day.
CuriousJM, Thank you very much for letting me know. Unauthorized uses can make a photo worthless to potential buyers and even subject the photographer to legal issues with a buyer who has bought exclusive rights to a photo that is supposedly unpublished or not widely distributed. Now that I know of your use I can notify potential licensees.
