You right- Sainte-Famille is the oldest city of Ile D'Orleans, but it is commonly called Pont de l'Ile or in English known as "Bridge of the Island"....view the map. Also in this area, one can find the greatest concentration of stone houses, going back mostly to the French regime period. FYI - the period of the French Regime in Canada was one of extreme adventures and heroism approximate years 1610-1774. Cheers, Rafal
