Nice collection of photos Jeff! How long was this exposure?
Great picture. You captured it perfectly. Keep up the great work.
it looks like "lightfall"...
Thanks! At the bottom of a deep canyon and with light coming from only a small patch of blue sky above, my successful exposures in here were in the 10 to 30 second range. This edited copy of the shot includes a slight boost in color saturation, further emphasizing the blue light from the sky.
Awesome shot, yellow star i think! what camera did you use?
Leila, I shot this waterfall with a Canon Digital Rebel XT. I recently upgraded to the XTi, which has a nearly inconsequential increase in resolution (from 8MP to 10MP), but it shakes the CCD imager to reduce dust.
Fantastic Shot. Yellow star.
Awesome waterfall shot! Very well done!
Tu foto sencillamente muy muy buena. La pongo entre mis mejores. Felicidades.

Your choice in color saturation really helps bring out the natural colors in the rocks. Did you enhance the blue spectrum? Great photo and a nice example of editing.
Although I did increase saturation slightly to bring out the rock and algae colors, the long exposure captured the strong blue lighting that was already in the scene from primary light source: a small patch of blue sky above. Our eyes compensate to assign the lightest shade to white, but for ths shot I chose to leave the blue intact.
Una gran foto :) que bonito efecto el del agua
