The street lights on 3d get an outstanding effect

Thanks again Vasco. I was about 1-2km away from this scene. "Volkanzilla"s eye distance was about 20meters ;)

Thanks for the distances tips ;) valuable information

Vasco, with digital camera you got noting to loose and our brain is very flexible about perceiving the 3D. Keeping the two in mind you can experiment all kinds of shift distances, thats what I've been doing :) Take care, Volkan

Yeah, thats what I've been thinking, I mean, 3D visualisation is not new to any of us, we see it whenever we are awake, normal 3D photos brings nothing new. But if we increase shifting distance like, for example, your volkanzilla images, then we can see images (photos) that otherwise would be impossible for us humans to see, ever! Of course we will always find ortodox people that will say that real 3D photos must have only eye distance shifting, but everyone has it's own taste...

Vasco, because I have sight problem too, improving or exceeding human visual limits were always my primary motto. Volkanzilla X-3D (VX-3D) or NIR(Near IR) and FIR(Far IR -thermal) imaging are direct results of this. I think those you mention insisting on ~10cm (3"-4") shift distance for 3D pairs or sticking to rules, are not aware of what they are missing. I am glad to see that we created another Volkanzilla in Portugal :D Best wishes, Volkan
