The history of Cimarron County is displayed, including exhibits and artifacts on dinosaurs, the Santa Fe Trail, and other local historic sites. The 1949 Bruce Golf designed home houses a restored Santa Fe Depot and Blacksmith Shop, a homestead dugout, well house, wash house and windmill exhibit, along with antique machinery, wagons and buggies and much more.

When passing through Boise City at the Cimmaron Heritage Center you will find exhibits and artifacts on dinosaurs. That is not the only thing you will find, there is a replica of one of many bombs that were mistakenly dropped on the city during WWII testing. There are definitely plenty of interesting attractions there.

A beautifully executed sculpture, Roserock. If it depicts a life-size adult brontosaurus the length should be about 25 meters.
