The Moot Hall in Keswick was built in 1813 and is now a tourist information centre and art gallery. It has served as a court house, prison, museum, Town Hall and butter and fruit market. There are reports of a significant building on the site in 1571. This present building is the cherry on the cake of the splendid market square. Regards, Anita
Hi Anita looks a lovely place we have always wanted to go there but have never managed it yet maybe this year ... Regards David.. P/S how is Charlie....
A lovely "high street" Anita, very beautiful architecture
Hi David, it's well worth a trip down to the lake district, if you like a quiet carry on then it's best out of season because it becomes extremely busy. Spring and Autumn are my favourite times there.
Charlie is trying his best to talk :) well, making lots of lovely squeaking noises. He is a joy. Lauryn will be doing a similar speak only with that lovely Scottish accent. How is she, is she melting your heart with one of those smiles?
Thanks for asking about Charlie, Keep well. Regards, Anita
Interesting view , regards from Sandro

Thanks, Fai, Sandro and Paula There are plenty of good shops, pubs and hotel accommodation here in keswick and the beautiful lake is a few minutes away where you can take a lovely trip on a boat :) Anita

A Lovely Y* again, very nice of you Nick. The credit must go to the town planners of Keswick who have made sure that the buildings fit perfectly into the landscape :) Anita
