There was, fortunately, a watery ditch between us and these spooky creatures. We made a sharp exit as they gathered to attack.

Have you ever heard of the Bedworth Stare apparently if a stranger walks into a pub in Bedworth Warwickshire, (or is west midlands?)

This is what happens.

Thanks Ray and Jacko,

That old stare used to take place in a number of English pubs some years ago. Unfortunately the number of pubs that are closing down is increasing!

Bedworth is still in Warwickshire, but when I was living in Birmingham we got chucked out and placed in the West Midlands!

I hope you all have a great New Year, and I will look at your photos when I get the chance.

Best Wishes Peter

What are fun picture! Do you suppose some of them have become inhabited by aliens?

You are right they were not shy indeed. There is one friendly looking one in the bunch. The rest look as if they are ready to eat you for lunch.
