If this was truly on Alexander Island as shown, it would be a first for science. The southernmost colony of Gentoo Penguin (Pygoscelis papua) is on Petermann Island (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Petermann_Island ). And despite global warming I doubt if there is any ground without ice cover that far south. Closer scrutiny of photographs selected for Google Earth seems to be required to maintain the integrity of both Panoramio and Google Earth.
