A ruined church on the Marzano walk, day 4 of our guided walking holiday. Apparently, the village had a community of monks who bred cattle, but by the 1950's everyone had left. Instructions for the walk are available as a pdf along with my book of walks, Circular Walks on the Tuscany Umbria Border (by Martin Daykin, you can find them both at this link: www.tuscanyumbriawalks.com/buy-walking-book.html For information about our (Quattro Passi Ltd) guided and self-guided walking holidays: www.tuscanyumbriawalks.com/ If you would like to stay independently in this beautiful part of Italy, you can rent villas farmhouses and apartments through Gorgacce Rentals: www.tuscanyumbria.com/
