The silver roofed round building in the centre of the picture is “THE END OF THE RAINBOW CAFE.” It was originally built and erected in Ashover as part of the ASHOVER LIGHT RAILWAY. Since this picture was taken, the building has been dismantled and put into storage awaiting re-erection in its original location as part of the exciting new plans to reopen a section of this historic narrow gauge railway.
