It's OK, Ippa - I think Norrel is embarrassed to realize that the word for 'Day' in the Netherlands is a word that means 'stuff hanging off of a sheep's behind' in Australian!

Aaaaahhh - the amazing things we all learn about the world on Panoramio, lolol!

(oh MY - Is that why they are referred to as 'The Nether lands' ????!!!)

Norrel on February 1, 2009

Please, kamaly, you make it even worse...

So, let me get this straight: My Emu has dags hanging off it during the day in Germany?

SO! What's for breakfast?

kamalyn on February 1, 2009

bangers and dags!

Oh, excellent play, Guy.

I bit, dang it!

My goodness! There's been a lot of talking while I was sleeping. I'm having breakfast right now (Dutch porridge, not1word). Dutch, Guy. Although I like Germans a lot, I'm Dutch.

Now I've got to find out what bangers and dags are, because you guys use a lot of words that aren't taught in the Nether lands.

Dag! Norrel

LOL, Norrel - better not try for the Bangers and Dags! However, those Brits would in fact recommend 'Bangers and Mash.' That's a safe one to look up!

But you'd be much better off with eggs, bacon, sausage, SPAM, SPAM and SPAM....

Norrel on February 1, 2009

I was just about to ask what you guys do have for breakfast, without using luncheon meat related words. But I see I'm too late...

No time for sleep, Norrel. We're a busy lot out here.
