I looked on Panoramio and a little on Flickr for photos taken near this vantage-point. There were fewer than I expected and none with the overhead architectural feature. That surprised me! (Of course most of them were taken in beautiful weather.)

Yes I can see the similarity, you took it in a very interesting perspective. I was in Ottawa in 2000 at the stately Parliament Hill, I see a lot has changed. I have to go there ;-). Greetings, Hans
