There's a story in that photo, to be sure. I like this one quite a bit, Bits.

Thanks Dianne, Jean, Cal, and not1word. Found this one in the vault when searching for some other photos...It was a really surreal evening with the fog - I could have spend a whole day photographing everything in sight - well, in sight thru the fog, but could only steal a few shots driving between family event locations. Frustrating that we just don't get fog like this around where I live.

I usually hate mist, but looking at this pic, I'm not sure anymore...

Beautiful, BitsnP

Thanks Norrel ! Funny that I didn't really think the shots I took that night came out well at the time, but stumbling upon them looking for something else the other night, I wonder why I didn't think much of them then.

Howdy, Bits. I found another shot that's a sort of mirror image to this one. A bit different, but they both have the same sort of feel.

doesn't jason voorhees live here?

Norrel on February 4, 2009

Since February has a Friday the 13th, I expect him back by then.

Cal Kimola Brown on February 4, 2009

Nice to meet you GNB, wish I had thought of that handle.

Bits-n-Pieces on February 4, 2009

Cal - Bet you don't wish that more than I bet Guy does!! Can't believe it took me (or any of us, actually) this long for it to occur to me, lol.

Thanks for the words, notjust1word, and for the link. It was so misty I expected a dinosaur to be around the next bend in the road. So many cool scenes, but one of those evenings where I couldn't just go off on my own and photographer. Bizarrely, it was in the 50s that evening, and the next day: in the 90s. :p...Boy I'm glad it's winter!

And Don and Norrel, I think Jason's on the road with his hockey team in the winter, so we're safe. But I'd totally forgotten: Not just one but TWO Friday the 13ths coming up!

Thanks Domi - Cheers

Beautiful, dreamlike photo, B-n-P! Well done.

Bits-n-Pieces on March 29, 2009

Thanks very much, Marilyn ! I had a long drive that evening along winding roads through this misty fog - it was great! Glad to get your comment on this shot before it moved to the second page, rarely to be seen again, lol. (And congrats on your 'Doors' entry in the march npc - what a wonderful photo that was!)
