What an interesting expression, this is the look our dog gives us to say "what do you mean I can't have what you're eating?" I doubt that's what the bird is thinking but you got to wonder. Great photo Norrel
Thank you Cal. I took a lot of pictures of the birds in my garden, and this is the one I liked most, because of the expression on the face of the crow. I like crows a lot. I think I do because of their expressive faces. Crows are very intelligent, you can tell from their looks.
Maybe you're right about the expression on its face. I'll change the title.
I think this one fits in the Dagnabbit series. I still don't have a clue what that word means. It looks like a word captain Ahab could have used. And this crow too.
I couldn't have lured the Dagnabbit bird with SPAM, Jessica, since the purchase, possession and consumption of SPAM is prohibited by law in my country. It's considered bad for the health of people and animals, and it would destroy the environment.
But you're not completely wrong: I've taken lessons from Guy. I've lured this bird with vile cusswords, like Dagnabbit.

I love this expressive and intelligent crow! I like crows too, they are always up to something. Great shot Norrel.
lolol -WHAT a look! Your eagle sure doesn't look like he's using that very polite 'dagnabbit!' term!
Well you sure figured out the meaning of dagnabbit Norel, it sure fits well with the new title. I like it!
Thanks for explaining, kamaly. Dagnabbit! could be used in lots of situations. And I now know why I haven't been taught this word at school.
Good catch Norrel, stoneboat know about this?
Not yet. I wonder if she would call this one a crow, because it's not black. It's clearly grey.
I say it's blue, and it's not a crow: it's a Dagnabbit bird and you must have been taking lessons from Guy to lure him with SPAM...
I MUST say now: dagnabbit! this is one pretty jackdaw.

Ippa, it seems that we have introduced a new word in the Finnish and Dutch language.
Yes :D
Is this a seagull?
Great shot, Norrel.
I'm trying hard to avoid this kind of discussion, not1word. But now you're asking me, I'm not even sure if it's a bird. Cal thought it was a dog.
Yes, I get confused from time to time, its a direct result of being brought up in the same household as Guy!
