Despegando de Los Angeles, California, con un barco petrolero ( cisterna ) a la vista en el Oceano Pacífico abajo....Las lomas en la distancia pertenecen a la Peninsula de Palos Verdes.....A view of the wing of an AeroMéxico airliner with a view below of an oil tanker, and the Palos Verdes Pennisula of Southern California in the background as the jet climbs out of Los Angeles International Airport...( LAX ) Notice the low clouds ( AKA fog ) hugging the Pacific Ocean bellow.....( Airline logo is visible on wing...) Sierra Cuban, Miami, Florida....

Notice airline logo on the winglet at the tip of the wing of this AeroMéxico airliner.....The ship below is an oil tanker....I grew up here, and are very familiar with the hills in the distance on the Palos Verdes Peninsula of Southern California....The jet is climbing out of Los Angeles International Airport in this photo..Notice the ever-present natural fog, (low clouds) which are part of the Los Angeles photo-chemical smog which irritated my young eyes back in the 1960's.....Sierra Cuban, Miami, Florida

Even if it sounds hard to identify, the white smoke stacks visible at the upper left part of the picture are probably the stacks of the Scattergood fossil fuel electric generating station in El Segundo, California next to Los Angeles International Airport.....The hills of the Palos Verdes Peninsula are at the top....Notice the oil tanker below....Back in the 1960's, the beaches here smelled like gasoline.....Awful !
