Since the spring thaw was adding a bit of action to an otherwise uninteresting spot in Oshawa, I walked through the bush one March day to find this scene of a local creek carrying away the meltwater. Cedars are tenacious in their attempts at survival. They can live for hundreds of years on cliff edges, grasping the barest rock.
