I've been digging around the files again while I wait for the waether to change, and i found a few more good pics that just missed the first cut ... so here we go. Graham
Excellent shot Graham, nicely composed ,very well done.
thanks so much Arthur - good to hear from you again - it was tricky getting a good view as the trees were a but patchy, some almost bare of leaves while others amost green - but the sun came through at the right moment at the right place here. Graham
Hi Graham, hope your well, Y* for this beauty, hope the snow provides yet another stunning image/s in this beautiful set.
Warmest regards from Dublin h
Hi h - good to hear from you - and thanks for the Y* - I don't know why I didn't upload this one at the time - I really like it myself - we've had a little snow, and this is close the view today - only there was too much traffic to stand in the middle of the road! Graham
Perfect!! I do not have the language ........
It is indeed a very beautifiul place, flees - but your country is beautiful to me, and you show it to us beautifully.
Oh, I really like this photo. I'll keep it with a yellow star.

what a beauty Graham! best greetings, Urbi
Thanks for that Urbi - as you might have noticed, I've taken quite a few pics of this road, but autumn and spring are special and quite brief times, so I was glad to get the timing right here - and thanks for going through the back-pages - much appreciated.
Graham You have a similar picture won a contest? I was on your homepage. Gruss, Urbi
This got a 'Highly commended in thr Landscape Photographer of the Year, Urbi - same road, different season. Thanks for looking! Graham
thanks Graham for the link! superb shots! Recently, I have won with this picture. greetings, Urbi
Beautiful Graham - love the rising and falling Road - very evocative :)
Thanks Mark - I've taken so many pics of this avenue - there is a certain urgency as more and more bits are being lopped off trees and more trees cut down due to the hazard they present to a fairly busy road as they grow old - and i know the best places in terms of avoiding too many roadsigns, good runs of trees and elegant sweeps or undulations of the road, but the seasons still have their own demands, and you can't get lazy, which is great - for instance, the heavier of the two snow falls stuck to the 'wrong' side of the branches for the best light - always testing, but better still for it. Glad you like this one (I don't think I'll be doing a mono of it ;)!).
Long and winding road so beautiful and I love words, love alone that a walk in nature
© Gökhan TOPALOĞLU - I have to wait for gaps in the traffic to take photographs, so not quite so idyllic as it looks, but it is a wonderful place to walk all the same. Thanks
