What measures do you take Steve to protect your camera? Is it an under water model? This photo is breathtaking! Cool!

Greetings and envious, Jan

Steve Paxton on February 4, 2009

Jan the camera is fully water proof the only steps i take to protect the camera i made a pouch that fixes to my arm and a lanyard so i never loose it in the water. it opens to me a whole new world of photos as you can see. steve

Steve i consider my self lucky this is 30 min away down the freeway. the other reason i surf here no reef in front so we are getting a true ocean swell. steve

Splendid shot Steve! Very cool photograph, even with a reflection on the wave itself, great job Steve! (don't forget your wave tag BTW ;))

Steve Paxton on February 9, 2009

Tomas you know i have been forgetting the wave tag. these shot are not easy to get with the little camera has a very slow shutter press to take but at least i get the shots. glad you like it steve

jhk on February 9, 2009

Brilliant shot Steve, that's one difficult shot to take. Kudos for getting this one right (especially with your camera, as you say.).
