Very close to my Mothers birthplace, her cousins lived just at the top of the cliffs above the 'Sortem' beach, (covered in foam here!) I have distant memories of Wukkinton from my childhood days

Sortem Beach has me beat. Did you mean Seaton?

trikermike on February 28, 2009

According to my 1:50,000 First Series (sheet 89) which I just 'appen to have 'ere in 'merica: Saltom Bay is dead opposite the aforementioned smelly and soapy place

What a brilliant place to grow up Mike we used to love going darn to St Bees head - only about 10 miles away

Be good (or careful) over there Mike

Very neat intriguing shot. Too tired for very insightful comments and can't spell worth a darn tonight. Thank goodness for spell check or it would be goobledy gook tonight. Think I will have to catch the rest of your gallery another night. JF

OH wow. This is amazing, Jethro! YS and Like

David Brown Photogra… on July 29, 2010

I have just seen Guy's message and I must assume it was part of another dialogue that has slipped away - or just a random insult, one of the three.

Thank you Liam a slide from a long time ago. Actually a very long time ago.

Cheers y'all Jethro

Not random at all, Jethro, if you review the comments you will see that you requested to be referred to as "Mr. Wuss".

However, for the mental anguish I'm sure you've suffered over this issue I will add a 'like' to this cool shot.

You're a good man Guy and you should just not listen to those who would say otherwise.

Me? I cannot even spell it.........
