This was shot on the last day of November 1992 on my way north to Banff. Elk Range is a seemingly never-ending alpine ridge which straddles the Alberta-B.C. border just west of Highway 40. Unless you have climbing equipment, it is also fairly tricky to cross unless you go to the south or the north of the ridge, or unless you reach Grizzly Col below Mt. Tyrwhitt and go beyond to gain the summit. indyj@rogers.com
