Hard to say, I took this picture on a film camera in 1990 or 1991, then took a digital photo of the print in 2004 or so. The moment was spectacular and the clouds were very dramatic shades of orange. There probably was a fair amount of color drift due to the different technologies and steps involved in getting this image to this point. In my opinion no photographic technology is accurate (even film, especially the grossly super-saturated professional films), and reproduction accuracy removes any element of art in photography, so what's more important is to portray the mood of the moment as effectively as possible.
