Built as a city in 1580 then extended in the XVII century, located in Arequipa, Peru (in the southern region of Peru) People in Arequipa didn't know what happened inside the monastery for more than 400 years, the nuns didn't have any contact to outside people till 1970 when opens its doors to the public. it's a good place to visit, small street similar to Europe's medieval times, do you need more info? go to http://www.santacatalina.org.pe/
