We visited Mount Rushmore during a brief rainstorm. After the rain it looked as if the Presidents were crying. I know how they feel these days with the state of the economy and the world at large.

Hi Alan. Yes, this is a very special place. Because it is from the state I was born in and also because I am a very patriotic person and this monument makes me think of important moments of our history. I have never been to Yellowstone, but I want to. Last time we were on vacation my husband didn't want to go out of the way to get there. It was only one state away but.... Hope you get here. Best to you. Sharon

Hello Sharon. They must be huge. They look big. Great shot. Like. Warmed up rather quickly today. Its 30C at the moment and will get hotter as the day goes on. Could be in for some warm days from now on over here in Western Australia. I saw TV News last night that the first Tropical Cyclone is forming off the northwest coast of Western Australia. THis is normal for this to happen the northern parts of Western Australia. Its there wet season. Western Australia in a big state and whats happening in the northern part can be the oppersite to whats happening in the southern parts of WA. Kind REgards, David
