The history of this site is amazing.

Tahlonteeskee in Gore is a reconstructed site of the Cherokee Nation's former capital during 1828-39, including a council house, courthouse and log cabin, that is now a museum representing Cherokees who came before the Trail of Tears. Also an official Cherokee Nation information center.

It is hard to find any buliding let alone log cabin still satnding from the 1800. This is just one of the historical treasures you can look forward to in Oklahoma.
