Love all the moon shots, Anne. You are getting to be quite the expert with your camera. Great series.

I can always tell when we are nearing/have a full moon, by the moods of people. Sometimes they are really irritable and cranky. ( I work for the public : ))

Stay warm, Julie

Thank you very much, Julie and Billy! I'm glad you like the moon shots. The moon has great influence on our lives and I find it very fascinating. I know some people get irritated when we have full moon, but I like it! Greetings, Anne:)

Kompliment!

I love you moon series. I have also taken many photos of the moon with my FZ18. At first I tried to shooting the full moon and it came out OK. But, I found as your pictures bear out, that half-moon or less is better because you can see the shadows in the craters along the line between light and darkness.

Warmest regards from America, Leo

Me again. I forgot to ask - am I the only one not receiving email notifications of new photos and comments?

Cheers, Leo

Great series on the moon Anne! And you didn't even use a real telelense! You are so right about the influence of the moon. At full moon my facial hair seems to grow faster and I am making these strange howling noises... ;) Greetings, Dick

Hi Leo, thanks for stopping by and commenting on my moon series! I'm glad you like it. And you're right, it's a lot easier shooting the half moon than the full moon. The full moon is too bright and you can't see the craters because there's no shadow. I'm still receiving emails on new comments and photos. Best wishes from Germany, Anne

Hi Dick, thanks a lot for your nice comment! I'm glad you like the moon series. Now, there's a gap in the series because I didn't see the moon yesterday and today I haven't seen it either!:( Too many clouds! As to your facial hair which is growing faster under the influence of the full moon and the strange howling noises....that really sounds very ominous and alarming to me! You should be very careful these days! :)))) Cheers, Anne
