It's indeed very silently and peacefully. I guess that why the monks chose this location for there monastery.

The Yarlung Tsangpo from the Kyi Chu (Lhasa River) confluence to Gyatse was first explored by Chinese rafters in 1998. See Yarlung, 1998a for more info.
