Very beautiful!! I was thinking to put an olive tree in my balcony..very nice..!

Valerie on February 6, 2009

Oh this would be very nice, my friend!!! This year I am really sad because almost my plants on balcony have died because of the snow and the frost...:(( I had some bulbs of wonderful fuchsia tulips and old plants and flowers to put and tide up, but if wheater doesn't get better, it will be totally useless...:S I would like to have as sunny days as yours in Rhodes, my friend!!!

Many Kisses!!!

Oh my friend what a pity..I have some sensible plants and when they can't stand the cold (if we can say that it is cold down here, but you know..they get used to other climate conditions..) I put them inside (outdoor in the common stairs) or close to the windows..I've also read that you can coner them with suck, just to keep them warm..oh! by making holes of course (for oxygen)..Why don't you try it? ;)

In case you didn't understand...:) I ment "cover" with suck and not "coner", ih ih...

Valerie on February 6, 2009

You are right, my dearest! But by now it would be almost useless because the weather is worse every day and many of them have already irretrievable unfortunately...:( Next year I use this system certainly, thank you!! This spring it means that I will take the chance to tide up everything and buy new bulbs and plants...:) I really love them and this passion has been traded me by my father :D

What a wonderfully private square and a lovely potted tree Valeria. for suck read sack I think you really mean. And you know covering them with open mesh netting keeps the frost off to and allows them to breath nicely too. Ciao nick

I love this hidden corner in this old medieval town in Tuscany, my friend! And I am glad that you and our dearest immortal Eleni appreciate it...:) I really care about my plants, they all were my father's and I would like to continue take care of them...unluckily this year probably they are irretrievable, but I have to tide up everything and try to save some of them! The bad thing is that I haven't much spare time to do everything....ufffffff! :S Thank you very much for your nice words my friend - Ciao/ Greetings from rainy Pavia -
