Wow Valeria! This seems so strange and beautiful..Is this sand !?

Many kisses!!!

Valerie on February 6, 2009

Yes my dear friend, this is the sand around Mont Saint Michel, where the sea tide goes on and off every day...it is a very fascinating place :D Many kisses!!!

The title definitely suits this photo well, Valeria, what an endless landscape. Nicely done!

What kind of camera did you use here by the way? I found 'CEC DV' in the EXIF info but I've never heard of that. Or is this photo scanned from film?

I am really glad and proud that you appreciate my title, Tomas! Every time I upload new shots, the moment when I have mostly fun is the one when I have to chose titles...:D

Unfortunately I have scanned this one, as other old pictures of Normandy...today instead I have a FinePix A500, but I don't know well its properties...you know, I am not expert! :D

Thanks for letting me know. I was surprised that I had never heard of a camera called 'CEC DV' but now I know that it is a scanner I can conclude that that wasn't so strange after all. :)

Of course I know you're using a A500 now Valeria. :) Should be a nice little cam for not too much money.

Yes, it is enough simple to use and not too much complicated or professional :D

Vele Groeten!!! (My language knowledge is improving, isn't it?! :)

I love the channels that swirl around the Mont St Michel when the tide is low, you have caught this atmosphere well and given a very apt title too. Bravo Ciao nick

I am proud of your comments, thank you so much - I really have fun giving titles to my shots, I try to be not banal, but not always I manage to :) Mont Saint Michel is however so beautiful and unique that you can capture a rare corner and point of view with a bit of lucky

Thank you so much for your kind words, I am really grateful! Ciao

Beautiful swirls of sea channels around Le Mont St.Michel Valerie. You have created such an unusual scene of this very famous landmark, and made it your own. Many congratulations.
