This was not here last week! The Marina is named Mercia as it is built only some 2 miles north of Repton which was the capital of the ancient kingdom of Mercia. The marina serves the Trent and Mersey canal too. The Mersey is a river that formed a boundary of Mercia and had a ferry for beetles with such heart conditions they required pace makers. Apparently.
