I had just finished this bucket of coffee, when I saw your finishing note to me about a 'crazy diamond'

co-incidence, or what?

Mike

Amazing Mike - you twinkling star. I have no idea how this is done, but I know that Billy can do it as well. You are both so clever. I am honoured to placed alongside your rainbow coffee mug, the radio and our mutual means of communication - the keyboard. The same wavelength indeed :)

Greetings bonnie lad, Amelia

Wireless keyboard, with giant letter stickers-MINE

What you presumed was a radio is actually the screen controls, so you see, there is no magic or Billy B@rkery here, just a photograph, then a wee bitty play on Picasa 3! I am nowhere near as clever as yon BillyB@rk, he's a magician AND A SCOT!

I am vry pleased that you like this though, I took the shot just as I'd finished my coffee (NB-manky mug!) just as your comment aboot shine oan, ye crazee diamund came up! check the time on the photo.

your pictures have spoken in volumes to me, some folks pics do that-I cannot explain why or where the words I put down come from, I am just glad I can put them down somewhere permament. Similarly, a while ago, I was watercolour painting like a mad thing-no deein a bad job, either....but noo the eyesight is no up te awrat fiddle aboot wi wee brushes an' stuff-so aam using words and things te express the feeling, and as a channel fer whitever is deein it!

Amelia Royan on February 7, 2009

Whatever channel you are on Mike keep tuned in. The words are from your heart, that is the important thing. Try some big brush work, and I'm sure you'll love it. Think Rolf Harris bonnie lad.

Amelia :)

N E WAY, big brush aint no good, its colours and sensetivity i have trouble with. In watercolour the dilution is critical to give a picture depth, I am not able to see that finely now-but pastel is okay, line drawing is fine, just I miss watercolour painting so much.

I am 'working up' to line & wash, but I only will give them away, as it's not me-ye ken! The only word I know to describe how I feel since I lost the latest bit of sight, is fear. I fear that I must change!

So, if you'll excuse me, the moon is full, I must go now-o-oo-oooo-ooooooooo!!!!

trikermike on February 8, 2009

i OFTEN USE THE TERM, WITH GREAT DEFERENCE, TO DESCRIBE ANY KIND OF CHANGES THAT SOMEONE MAKES TO A PHOTOGRAPH OR PAINTING OR INDEED TO ANY ARTWORK, TO MAKE THE ORIGINAL APPEARANCE DIFFERENT IN AN ASTOUNDING AND TOTALLY BELIEVABLE FASHION, bILLY i APOLOGISE IF ANY MISUNDERSTANDING HAS CAUSED YOU ANY OFFENCE, MATE, AND SHALL AS FROM NOW, DESIST FROM USING THE TERM, OK?

WHILE i'M OAN, SEE YER PICS? HEV YE ANY FAVES YEED LIKE A WEE BITTY RHYME ON? AA COULD HEV THEM IN MA WEE book(LET) AS FAST AS YE COULD SAY jOCK SCOTT! HOWSAT SOOND?

mIKE....LET'S KNOW afore YE GO OFF TE japan, EH? !!

trikermike on February 8, 2009

och! tht bliddy caplock! got me again! SO SORRY BILL!

Amelia Royan on February 8, 2009

Trikermikery, BillyB@rkery, you're both stars in my book.

I know what you mean about the big brush stuff Mike, I too like water colour, but was disappointed with results my results. I'm pleased that you can still get on with the line drawing and pastels though. Keep going in whatever way you can bonnie lad :)

Greetings, Amelia

Of course Bonnie Lad ..... and now it's in my gallery of favourites, although Pano seems to have put a great limit on this aspect unfortunately :((

trikermike on May 15, 2009

Mmmm, dunno nuthin 'bout that, but I have tagged this 'crazy diamond' if that helps

Amelia Royan on May 15, 2009

I read it this morning on one of Nick's photos. I'll try and send you the link. There is also a limit to the number of people that can be listed as your favourites as well, and I notice that some of people have "disappeared".

Amelia Royan on May 15, 2009

Here is the link Bonnie Lad, I hope it hasn't affected you in any way :)

trikermike on May 15, 2009

Sorry, but I'm rather slow here, what have I missed? I got the link ok, thank you, but I lost the plot!

Thats what happens a lot now I'm afraid, I think!

I must be eating too many mushrooms!

I would appreciate if you can fillin the blanks for me Bonnie K-Lassie, in simple language, coz aav nee idea whits afoot!

Mike

Thanks Billy, I will get a look-see, if any bring words out of themselves, I would like to keep them for a second weeBOOK , as the first is in a situation at the moment with a publisher. Is that ok with you? Any further details required, just ask me, mate!

Cheers

Mike
