Great photo! I like that the colored exhaust, not the planes, are in the center of the photo. And, thank you for your nice comments about my window rock photo in Utah. Last summer I cashed in my United Airline miles and took my family on a European vacation where we flew Lufthansa from Denver in business class connecting thru Franfurt to Dublin and thru Munich on our way home from Rome. What a great airline with great service!!! It was nice to touch down on German soil, to make another connection to my past as my grandmother was German (Kelkup). Greetings from Denver, Colorado. Tom

Hi Tom, this air show was performed on the island of Ischia, Italy by the Frecce Tricolori (three colored arrows). This is one of the best and most famous stunt flying formations in Europe. The audience (most of them Italians, of course...) was totally impressed by the show. The formation got standing ovations after the end of the show.

Hi pics, in Deutschland wirst Du so etwas auch nicht mehr zu sehen bekommen: Seit der Katastrophe auf der Ramstein Air Base (1988) werden solcherlei Flugshows bei uns nur noch unter strengen Auflagen genehmigt. Das Bild vor 5 Jahren ist in Italien entstanden, auf einer kleinen Insel vor Neapel, die Piloten flogen über das Meer...
